Bathing

Bathing is extremely important to ensure the health of your dogs coat. We use premium, sensitive conditioning shampoos (Peanut & Pickle) which are suitable for all dogs and their coat types.

Our standard shampoo used on all baths/full grooms is armed with odour control, Yup You Stink! Conditioning Shampoo effectively cleans fox poo, urine, grime, grease—basically anything stinky! Suitable for dirty pooches of ANY breed. If that wasn’t good enough this shampoo is infused with Eucalyptus (deodorising) and Cedarwood (antibacterial and flea repelling) essential oils, while Juniper and Neroli provide a stunning fragrant finish. This PH balanced formula contains oat kernel, Argan oil and Aloe Vera leaf juice which together nourishes and softens the skin and coat, leaving a wonderful glossy sheen.

If you struggle to keep on top of your dog’s coat, we are here to help. What may look and feel like little knots can quickly turn into matts this can lead to skin irritation and sores. Baths between grooms is both beneficial for the owner and dog as this helps keeps the knots away. We have specific equipment to brush out the knots in the most comfortable way, using detangle spray helping knots break up much easier along with slicker brushes to get right to the base coat.

These products can be purchased from our salon if you would like to do this at home. Bathing for Shedding coats types is recommended. We use dryers specifically designed to separate the coat and take out the dead hair. As well as drying the coat this will get rid of the dead hair, once dry we will go over the coat using our de-shedding equipment. Your dogs skin is as sensitive as yours, therefore a bath and dry is beneficial to avoid skin irritation.

Short haired breeds
